The Beautiful Girls is an Australian band, predominantly playing roots music. They have released three EPs, Morning Sun, Goodtimes and Weight Of The World. Plus three full length albums, Learn Yourself, We’re Already Gone and Ziggurats. This electric harmony of rock, reggae, pop and folk has drawn comparisons with Xavier Rudd, Ben Harper, Jack Johnson, Mason Jennings and more recently The Police. Since their formation in 2000 the group have toured extensively in Australia, Japan, North America and Europe. They have supported or been supported by many notable bands including Rogerthat, The Cat Empire, Powderfinger, Silverchair and Mason Jennings. They played at Dusty Days on March 15, 2008 in Wagga Wagga, NSW. Their single I Thought About You reached #60 in the ARIA Singles Chart.

Band of Skulls is a British alternative rock band that formed in 2008 in Southampton, England. It consists of Russell Marsden (guitar, vocals), Emma Richardson (bass, vocals), and Matt Hayward (drums), who formed a band after they all met in college. Initially, they played at night clubs in the greater London area and recorded some demos under the name of Fleeing New York before changing their name to Band of Skulls in November 2008. Their debut album Baby Darling Doll Face Honey, distributed by Shangri-La Music, was released exclusively on the iTunes Store on March 6, 2009, followed by a general release on March 20. The track “I Know What I Am” was chosen as iTunes’ free Single of the Week to coincide with the digital release. The band’s single “Friends”, which was a cast-off from Baby Darling Doll Face Honey, was included on The Twilight Saga: New Moon soundtrack in November 2009.

The Pains of Being Pure At Heart are an indie pop band from New York City.Their first album was a self-released EP which came out in 2007 through the Painbow label. Their debut self-titled full length album was released on February 3, 2009 via Slumberland Records.The band name comes from an unpublished children’s story of the same title that a friend of singer Kip Berman wrote. The group’s self-titled album peaked at #9 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart. On September 22, 2009, they released Higher Than the Stars, their second EP.
