K’s Choice is a Belgian rock band from Antwerp, formed in the mid-1990s and touring as recently as 2006. The band’s core members are siblings Sarah Bettens (lead vocals, guitar) and Gert Bettens (guitar, keyboard, vocals). They are joined by Eric Grossman (bass), Thomas Vanelslander (lead guitar), Reinout Swinnen (keys) and Koen Liekens (drums). The band has produced gold and platinum albums.

Ben’s Brother is a five-piece band from the UK, headed by founder Jamie Hartman. Their band was named after Jamie’s big brother Ben, in whose shadow he lived as a teenager. Jamie always considered himself the beta male of the family, which gave him the idea for the title of their debut album.

Nada Surf is an American alternative rock band. Formed in 1992, the New York band consists of Matthew Caws (guitar, vocals), Ira Elliot (drums, backup vocals) and Daniel Lorca (bass, backup vocals).

Mando Diao is an alternative rock band from Borlänge, Sweden. The band got their breakthrough with the release of the album Hurricane Bar. The song “God Knows” was featured in FIFA 06. Their main fan base is in Sweden, Germany, and Japan although their influence has recently spread to Western Europe, most notably the UK.

Aberdeen City is a Boston based indie/alternative rock band. Their debut album, The Freezing Atlantic (Dovecote/Red Ink), was voted the number one new album by the WFNX Boston Phoenix Best Music Poll 2006. The album also won Local Album of the Year at the 2006 Boston Music Awards, pairing with the bands win for Best Local Rock Act. The bands first single, “God is Going To Get Sick of Me” took home the “Local Song of the Year” award the previous year before the album had been nationally released. Their moody debut LP was produced by Steve Lillywhite (U2, Morrisey, Talking Heads) and Nic Hard (The Church, The Bravery).
